THE AEROW is everything!
Nothing slows down an athlete more than the oncoming air. About 70 to 80 percent of the total air resistance is generated by the cyclist or triathlete. Sufficient reason to enhance aerodynamics and extract more speed from equal performance!
In the wind tunnel, we initially determine a baseline of your current flow resistance. By means of multiple test runs, we make adjustments to your aero position, analysing them based on your individual biomechanical and aerodynamic characteristics, gradually unlocking your full aero potential.
As your aero position nears the optimum, we gladly explore the remaining aero gains in your gear. Our wind tunnel boasts a diverse selection of helmets, speedsuits, tri-suits, wheels, and aero gadgets for on-site testing and analysis, allowing you to find what works best for you
AEROFITTING
To optimize your aero position, we want to ensure you already have a stable and biomechanically optimized position. Ideally, you undergo a bike fitting with us in Bad Wörishofen, at HYCYS’, or with one of our partners before your AeroFitting.
During the AeroFitting in the wind tunnel, we optimize your aero position especially through cockpit adjustments, considering your individual prerequisites, your training-, and competition goals. We always keep an eye on your saddle stability and individually optimal power transfer. Working with an aerodynamics expert, your position is refined through multiple test runs, taking your feedback into account.
You’ll get:

- optimization of your riding position, focusing on cockpit adjustments
- a summary of all test results, including changes in CdA value and their impact on speed and performance

MATERIAL TEST
The material test can be booked separately or in combination with a preceding AeroFitting. In our wind tunnel, we have a wide range of materials from our partners for testing. The main focus is on position-related materials such as speedsuits, tri-suits, helmets, or aero-calves.

- access to high-quality test products from THE AEROW partners
- a guided materials test with our aerodynamics experts who select equipment with the most aero potential for you and analyse the data
- summary of all test results, including changes in CdA value and their impact on speed and performance
- the opportunity to test your own gear that you bring along

AEROFITTING & MATERIAL TEST
To unlock the full aero potential, we offer a combination of AeroFitting and subsequent material test. The focus is initially on optimizing the aero position, on cockpit changes, and on considering biomechanics. Once the position is optimized, a material test follows, where materials from our partners or the gear you brought can be tested to save the last watts.
You’ll get:
- an AeroFitting and a material test guided by our aerodynamics experts, leading you through the process and optimizing your aero position and gear step by step
- optimization of your position on your own bike, adjusted to your changed aero position
- access to high-quality test products from THE AEROW partners
- a summary of all test results, including changes in CdA value and their impact on speed and performance

PARTNERSESSIONS
You would like to do an AeroFitting with your team- or training partner, your significant other, or a friend? Since AeroFittings and material tests involve some downtime to make adjustments and changes and our wind tunnel is designed for quick bike changes, we also offer partner sessions.
In a partner session, the two of you take turns in the wind tunnel, in order to get aerodynamically optimized. There are no long waiting times since we can quickly and regularly exchange bikes, and since making adjustments to the cockpit or changing gear creates regular slots for switches.
You’ll get:

- an AeroFitting or a combination of AeroFitting and material test as a partner session with a team- or training partner, significant other, or acquaintance
- alternating optimization of your positions on your own bikes, which will finally be adjusted to your individual aero positions
